Save your Dying Nail Varnish

Do you just hate it when you love a nail varnish but once you gone through  about half a bottle it start to get a little tacky.  Well this is a little tip for you to get those tacky nail varnishes back to life.

 

Step 1- add a couple drops of nail varnish remover

Step 2 – close it and give it a shake.

Rimmel london apocalips review

The new release of the Rimmel apocolips has taken the beauty bloggers by storm . As many others i couldn’t wait to get my hands on some. Unfortunately I only managed to pick up one shade which is big bang , This is a bright red shade that is very easy to apply .   I has the pigmentation of a lipstick but a lightweight feel of a lip gloss . The staying power is amazing as it last up to four hours . I went for a tea and a chat with a friend and didn’t have to reapply once !  I am impressed with the application and the lasting power . These retails at £5.99 in your local superdrug and i think it worth every penny  !

MeMeMe nail varnish review

The brand MeMeMe is available at Superdrug and www.mememecosmetics.co.uk and is very affordable brand .I own two of the nail varnishes which I think are some of the best I own.  They retail at £5 each.

The consistency is very creamy and is quick drying  .  One coat of this nail varnish does the job because it gives a very opaque colour . The brush is a very wide one which make application much easier and it very handy if you are in a bit of a rush which I love.

          I have two shade of this nail varnish which is 78 Ambition and 81 Chic . Both colours has no shimmer . I do not use a base coat with either of them , it doesn’t stain  my nails even though that chic is a dark shade .Also both of the colours has a bit of a shine to them so  i do not  add a top coat .  It does last a few days with out a top cot but i would imagine that it would last a lot more if a top coat was applied .

          The colour 78 Ambition is a perfect nude colour . It it great if you want a natural colour to wear to work or school . It is also great because it that type of colour that goes with every thing so you don’t have to worry what you going to wear .

          The second colour i have is 81 chic . This is a mid tone brown . I would use this colour  for a casual day shopping or going out for dinner because it a classy brown colour .

          I would recommend this nail varnish to everyone they are the best . I think that i have to go repurchase the colour Ambition soon because i have been using it often in the last month or so .

The base cost is beth’s blue from models own

it is a lovely pale blue and you need only one or two coat and it is opaque

And the top coat is juicy jules again from models own

For this effect I put about 1 or 2 coat of the glitter to make sure I had enough.

Nail Of The Day (NOTD) 20/2/2012

The Base colour is blueberry ice cream (306) by Barry M

it is a lovely pale blue and you need only one or two coat and it is opaque.

I finished the look off with a Miss sporty sparkle touch top coat .

For this effect i  put about 3 coat of the glitter to make sure i had enough .

Nail of the day 19/2/2012

The base colour is from a GOSH special edition collection , and it is in the colour forest floor 005 . This is a very dark green and i love the colour because it gives me lots of memories . I also like this colour for the wintrer because is a nice dark colour. I had topped the accent finger with wet 'n' wild colour from the rock solid collection this colour is called sparkling diamonds . It a very fine milled glitter  and is lovely on top of the green .The  glitter doesn't effect nothing on the colour of the green .

my year of beauty

This year was the year when I went from enjoying  makeup to have a passion.  At the beginning of the year I did enjoy applying makeup but didn't  apply  it every day. Now I do it every day loving every moment.  This year was the year where my and my sister one drawer collection grow to over 3 drawer  and had to by  few storage boxes . I have discovered brand that I haven’t try before e.c.t Mac and topshop. Because I live in a small village and the my town only have a small Superdrug I can’t get lot of the things I like from my local stores but I love going to Chester (that is about 2 hours away from where I live) to get some new stuff.  I hope that 2012 got some more makeup that will enjoy.
