Nars all day luminous weightless foundation

This is the new foundation that Nars has recently released . I was in space nk with the intention of buying the sheer glow but because they didn't have the pump in stock i opted for this  . I have been trying it out for a while now so i can give you my opinion .

First off i matched my self and i picked a  shade too light but this isn't a major problem since i can use bronzer to warm up my complexion . On application i would recommend that you use a primer to make sure the foundation glides on . I have tried it with and without primer  . The pump dispenses small amount of product but don't be tempted to pump  a whole lot more since a little goes a long way . 

The coverage is medium to full coverage . But i don't see it to be a luminous finish . I would say its more of a matte finish personally .  I don't feel like its weightless either  as the name suggest . This might be down to my combination skin but i feel like it  breaks up around the nose area . I also feel  like it fades during a day . 

To me this is a foundation that i would only reach for if I'm going out for a few hours rather than all day . For the £32 price tag i defiantly don't feel like its worth it for me and wouldn't repurchase it .

I am always trying new foundations . This was one that i wanted to try for a while. On a recent trip to imats i decided it was time to give it a go . I am in the shade ivory and it matches perfectly . Its an oil free foundation so it would be perfect to you that has an oilier complexion. My skin is combination since i get a little bit oily in my t zone throughout the day . Also i have some scarring and discolouration so i like a high coverage foundation from time to time to achieve a flawless finish.This defiantly  gives me the coverage that i need on those days.

The application is great as it blends with ease . I like to mix in some strobe cream to give it a more glow , this is just my personal preference . A little goes a long way so don't get carried away. Although it's full coverage i don't feel that it sits on top or sink in to any fine lines  and it looks very natural . mac strobe cream

This is hands down the best product that i have tried from mac . I  was first  bought it last year . I bought the travel size to try it out . Since then i have gone  and bought the full size version .This is a white cream that has somewhat of a pearl finish . This is a very useful product and can be used in many different ways .

First way is as a primer  this is very moisturizing cream . It works well as a primer  and it makes sure that your foundation glides over any dry patches . I wouldn't say that it prolongs the wear of the foundation  but with a powder it last all day  . 

Another way i use this product is to mix it in with my foundation . I use it with any foundation i use and the  result are always amazing . After i mix it in the foundation i feel that applying the foundation is a whole load better . It makes blending in so easy it is unbelievable . This also  gives my skin a nice luminous finish .

Becca x Jaclyn Hill shimmering skin perfector

When I first heard about this collaboration I knew I have to have it . I stumbled across Jaclyn hill videos over six months ago and since then i have watched  every video she has posted since as well as some of her older ones . I love them , she is so funny and her makeup  is always  amazing . Her highlight is always glowing and amazing  and i know that this highlighter would be the best I've tried and it didn't disappoint .This highlighter is a light gold color with pink and peach undertones. The formulation is amazing , Shimmery but not glittery . I would say that its more of a going out highlighter but i use it every day because  I love it that much . I'm even tempted to buy a back up of this  for when i eventually run out . But this wont be for a long time because a little goes a long way .

REN - Glycolactic radiance renewal mask

Recently I have been enjoining using masks . Most of our masks are clarifying but this is different . It gives my skin a new lease of life and my complexion is much brighter .  Its a honey like texture  and its  easy to massage into the skin . It recommends that you leave it on for 10 minutes but the mask lasted at least 20 minute for me  . I removed the mask using the muslin cloth that provided and instantly I could notice a difference . My skin was radiant and glowing and I felt like it was so soft . I haven't tried a mask of this sort before so I cant compere but  I am exited to try a similar one soon

MAC blot powder

 I have tried many drugstore pressed powders and I always search for that matte finish. I have struggled to find the perfect powder and have always made do with what I've got .Some powders didn't control any oils , match colours while others made my base look cakey and that wasn't what I wanted in a powder and I don't think most of you want these type ether .

 On a whim in the mac counter a bought this thinking it will do the job and wasn't expecting much of it . But boy was I wrong this is the best powder ever the colour light matches my complexion perfectly . The powder kept me matte all day and I didn't feel cakey . This is truly amazing and I would defiantly recommend everyone to try one for their self  its fantastic .

makeup forever smokey lash

After hearing so much about this mascara I felt like I had to try it . Its a high end mascara and it retails for £18.50 . I had high hopes for it an so far it hasn't disappointed . I have been using the mascara frequently over the past month or so . At first the formula was wet and I didn't feel like it was doing much for my lashes but I feel after a week of using it and trying to make it work the formula  dried up a bit and the mascara was amazing . I feel like it gave me a lot of volume and it held the curl nicely . I personally didn't see major lengthening in it but I have rather long lashes to begin with .
